With Chris Jericho still in the picture and Manchester, England local Wade Barrett still nursing an elbow injury that has cost him valuable time in the ring over the last few months, the picture for the WWE Championship, currently held by CM Punk is yet to shape up and as for the fans, it would be the best if Jericho exited the picture and allowed Barrett a free run at the title, just for the value of the match. Prior to him injury, when the Barrett barrage was in full flow, it had seemed that the WWE would give him the required push against Punk, but unfortunately, the injury that he sustained ruled him out of Wrestle Mania where the Barrett versus Punk match would surely have been a phenomenon.
But now that he is expected to return to the ring in a few weeks, one can expect that the WWE will still give him the push that he had been looking for to win the title. A battle between Wade Barrett, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan would also be great but the battle between Punk and Barrett would be fantastic. It is still uncertain whether he will be fit to fight at Summer Slam but if he is fit, a match with CM Punk will surely blow the roof off Staples Center.
It was expected that the two former Nexus leaders would feud but the fans were deprived of it when Barrett was shipped off to Smack Down and Punk stayed on at RAW. Since then, Punk has become the best WWE Champion since Edge and it can be said that he has got the better of Barrett and the only way that Wade Barrett can get back at him is if he can get and defeat CM Punk in a WWE Championship match.
Wade Barrett has been included in the Royal Rumble 2012. He was never a very popular player in the history of WWE. This particular player with an English background had a chance to prove himself in the ring. In the ring he has to face Randy Orton who has recently recovered from back injury.
Barrett is regarded as one of the player who speaks well and provokes his opponent to gain popularity and fan following. The wrestling lovers are waiting to watch this match which will give Barrett a chance to win the title and enter the Wrestle mania of 2012.
On the other hand Randy Orton has said nothing can stop him from knocking Barrett down from the ring. This Royal Rumble is the 25th edition in the WWE history. So, being a special event the organizers have an expectation to witness a full house. Moreover the crowds are also eager to witness the clash between Wade Barrett and Randy Orton.
Experts believe that Barrett has got an additional advantage to beat Randy as the latter has been suffering from back injury which led him out of the ring for certain period of time. When asked to Wade, he said that nothing could stop him in this Royal Rumble of 2012. So, from this the Wade followers are quite confident to see the title on the hands of their favorite wrestler. Now, only time will show the real winner.
The particular match between Wade Barrett and Randy Orton will be wired live on Friday edition of this week. The wrestling fans are ready to witness the long awaited clash between these two wrestlers. Some say despite suffering from back injuries it is tough to knock down Randy Orton in the ring. Orton claimed that he would easily win the match and also claimed that he can do anything to win this particular title.
